Synopsis
Jonathan McCalister had everything going for him. He was a star quarterback for the Katy Tigers, a five-star prospect, and he was headed to play division one college football at Texas University with a full scholarship. He had a beautiful girlfriend, a loving family, a spot in the Katy Highschool Hall of Fame, and he’d just won the championship game when disaster struck.
On his way to a celebratory dinner, with his little sister, Gabby, in the car with him, he got into a horrific car accident that took her life and took his legs. With no more legs, he had no more scholarship. With no more Gabby, Jonathan was as good as dead to his father. His girlfriend leaves him, and he is all alone. Confined to a wheelchair and responsible for his sisters’ death, Jonathan becomes very bitter. He strays from God. He loses hope. He gives up on life. He goes to Central Texas University to study law and doesn’t have any fulfilling ambitions for himself. That is until he meets Samantha Reid…
About The Author
Glenn Vo is a practicing Dentist who moonlights as a writer. When he is not battling tooth decay and gingivitis, Glenn likes to create romantic stories that warm the heart and soothes the soul. His love for writing came from reading and then creating his own “Choose Your Own Adventure” type of story. This led to forays into journalism at his high school and culminating in a column for his college newspaper. Initially an English major in college, Glenn’s father gave him a financial ultimatum to switch his major to the Health Sciences. Despite this change, he continued to pursue writing while working toward becoming a dentist.
2612 Cherryhill Lane is the result of many years of hard work and dedication. Many of the plot points and characters were jotted down in between studying the various anatomical structures in Dental Anatomy. And as a dentist, he would work on the novel in between patients, jotting down important plot points on patient bibs and sticky notes. But in all seriousness, this novel represents what is possible if you have a dream and never give up.
Glenn currently lives in Flower Mound, Texas, with his lovely wife, two rambunctious
kids, and a feisty Beta Fish named Dory. He attends Northwest Bible Church and Gateway Church.
